:mega: Attention PACT Community!

PACT has officially announced we are bridging the $PACT token and on-chain digital credit from Celo to Aptos.

To understand the reasons and benefits of this move, check out the official announcement on Twitter. This a monumental move for the Foundation, the PACT community, and users across the globe.

Before bridging your $PACT, review the following information to understand its implications and future governance plans.

  1. This is a phased upgrade—while new functionality will all be built on our Aptos token, governance will remain on Celo until later this year when governance is fully shifted to Aptos.
  2. In order to still participate in votes for community proposals, you will need to hold $PACT on Celo to do so.
  3. When the full bridge to Aptos is completed and governance is live on Aptos, the Foundation will make several announcements notifying the community ahead of time with clear instructions and dates for bridging.
  4. Please note that this is a one-way bridge. Once you bridge your $PACT from Celo to Aptos, it can’t be bridged back.
